Membership
Becoming a member of BHS saves pets from neglect and abuse. Your annual membership helps pay for:
. dog food . cat food . vaccinations . spay and neuter programs . shelter . medications . veterinary care What obligations come with membership? None! Your membership does not obligate you to attend meetings, house animals, work with animals, or volunteer in any way. Membership is a demonstration of your support for BHS and your concern for the welfare of animals! BHS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As such, your donations are 100% tax deductible. We operate mainly on donations, adoption fees, thrift shop sales, aluminum can recycling, and grants. We receive no tax dollars other than for negotiated services with City and County governments. |
